I work as a Lecturer at the University of Borås and teach in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing programme as well as the Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Nursing - Primary Health Care programme. I am a specialised and trained Primary Health Care Nurse and have previously worked in this area. Before pursuing further education, I also worked as a registered nurse at a hospital in Borås.
I hold a doctorate in Caring Science. My doctoral thesis focused on person-centred communication and was based on four studies that evaluated a web-based training for nursing assistants working in municipal home care. These studies are part of the research project ACTION.
At the University of Borås, I am part of a research group that aims to develop health care that supports and enhances patient health and well-being by applying and implementing research within various health care contexts.
