I work as a teacher and researcher in the research area of Library and Information Science with a focus on digital books, reading and the Swedish book market. I also research the role of libraries in society and its democratic mission, as well as Swedes' trust in libraries as an institution. Other areas that interest me are information and knowledge sharing in organizations.
I started my employment as a lecturer at the University of Borås in 2010. My areas are strategic communication, information products and digital libraries. I have a journalist degree from Göteborg University, a MA in English from Växjö and a MSc in Library and information science from the Swedish school of library and information science. My dissertation; Selling and lending e-books: changes in the Swedish literary field (2019), deals with the Swedish e-book market with a focus on public libraries and bookstores.
Currently, I am researching school libraries' and public libraries' work with democracy in the project Democracy in Motion with Media and Democracy, Lindholmen Science Park.
