Educational development

Educational development is an integral part of the University of Borås’ (UB) work for quality improvement and contributes to the university’s continued development as an attractive educational institution and workplace.

The Unit for Development and Research in Higher Education (HUF) offers courses and training for teachers sin higher education who seek to develop their pedagogical awareness and skills.

Besides a basic course on teaching in higher education (15 credits), HUF also offers courses in ICT for teaching, courses for supervisors of BA theses, as well as courses for supervisors for doctoral students.

HUF also offers consultations, where specific student courses or pedagogical problems or dilemmas are analysed and discussed in their context.

HUF also arranges seminars on pedagogical development within the university. The seminars are open for all employees at the University of Borås.

Teachers and pedagogically active people at the university are offered training, short courses, seminars and workshops for pedagogical competence development.
