Event Highlights

Gain insights from our former students and hear profiles from the industry share their thoughts on the future of textiles. 

Keynote Speaker: Cia Jansson, Media Director, Women Lifestyle, Aller Media. Today, Cia is one of the most influential voices in Swedish fashion. Since 2014, she has worked as Editor-in-Chief of ELLE and in 2024 she took the helm as Media Director at Aller Media, while continuing as Publisher of the Swedish editions of ELLE. She has a broad background and experience as a fashion editor, fashion director and creative director. In 2014, she curated the acclaimed exhibition Swedish Fashion 2000–2015 at the Sven-Harry’s Art Museum.

Panel Discussion: In the panel discussion “Opportunities to Increase Sustainability and Competitiveness through Research and Innovation”, you will hear leading voices from the industry explore the theme. The panel features Cecilia Nykvist, CEO of TEKO; Jan Larsson, CEO of Business Sweden; Marcus Hartmann, Head of Public Affairs and Sustainability, North Europe Region at H&M; and Paul Frankenius, entrepreneur and investor.

Conversations with Alumni: Joining us during the day is Kristian Falden, alumnus from our Master’s Programme in Textile Design and one of the 2026 winners of Ung Svensk Form. From Fashion Design, we welcome Louise Linderoth, founder of Lou Dehrot and Alumnus of the Year 2025, and Tanja Vidic, founder of VIDIC and named Future Talent of the Year 2025 by ELLE magazine. They will share their experiences and thoughts on the future in a conversation with Anna Lidström, Senior Lecturer in Design.
