The project draws on personal experience within both fields. Costume design carries its own language: perceived authenticity, the weight of audience perception and fiction. The methods were lifted from their original context and recast as design tools. What emerged are textiles that hold intention beneath their surface. Pattern, colour, material — each decision shaped by character, narrative, and the silent conversation between object and viewer.
The distance between two processes became the creative space. A place where familiar methods produce unfamiliar outcomes, and where textile design finds new ways to find meaning.
