The Academic Ceremony is an annual celebration at the University of Borås that takes place at Borås Congress Centre.

15:00-16:30 Ceremony
Conferment of doctoral degrees, recognition of honorary doctors, installation of new professors, recognition of Associate Professors/Docents, and the awarding of the Pedagogical Prize.

16:30-18:00 Reception
After the ceremony, all participants and guests may enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres as well as live music.

The ceremony and subsequent reception is open to all university employees and invited guests.  Please note that RSVP is needed. Please contact Emily Larsson, Master of Ceremonies, if you have not recieved your invitation.

18:00-late Banquet
The banquet includes a three-course meal and festivities for specially invited guests.
