Anna has long experience of teaching and has worked in different parts of the school world. Anna has now been working at the University of Borås for two months and you can find her in the Language lab three times a week together with Johanna Persson who has been a language lecturer with us for a long time and is a well-known face at the university.

What can the language lab do for you?

What can you get help with in the language lab? Well, you can get help with your academic writing, you can get help with structural support, source reference, development of languages both in Swedish and English. You could say that you will get help to help yourself.

Drop-in and tutoring

The Language lab has drop-in three times a week for shorter questions and tutorials. When you come to drop-in, remember to be prepared with questions to get the most out of the time. If you feel you need more time, you can book a search tutorial. Keep in mind that Anna and Johanna will not read your entire text but only parts of it to help you proceed with your text. At the Language lab you can also get help with oral presentations.

Courses and workshops

Take advantage of courses and workshops that appear on the web and social media. These can be very helpful in your writing.

The Language lab is open at the following times during the semester:

Mondays 13:00-15:00
Wednesdays 9:00-11:00
Thursdays 13:00-15:00 (both on site and via Zoom)

The last opportunity of the spring semester is June 1.
