Funding from the Sjuhärad Savings Bank Foundation
In accordance with the collaboration agreement between the Sjuhärad Savings Bank Foundation and the University of Borås, the university has the opportunity to seek funding from the foundation to conduct research projects in Textiles and Fashion as well as Resource Recovery. In addition to these areas, it will also be possible to apply for funding for other areas and events that are of mutual interest to the Foundation and the university. The purpose of the foundation's funding is to contribute to the conditions for good living conditions for the residents of the Sjuhärad region.
During 2023, the internal process is only open for applications for funding research projects in the areas of Textiles and Fashion, Resource Recovery, and Library and Information Science.
Decisions about which research projects will receive funding from the foundation are decided by the foundation based on documentation produced by the university. This documentation is produced through an internal application process within the university. The foundation's decisions are made in dialogue between the foundation and the university within the framework of a special steering committee. The annual activities are followed up on and determined within the framework of this steering committee.
Steering committee meetings take place at the beginning of October each year.
