Textile Technology

Bachelor's level

We offer three modules of 15 ECTS each. Students are required to choose two modules to obtain 30 ECTS. Due to the limited number of places available, students are not guaranteed their first-choice module

Module 1: Textile Production Technology 15 ECTS

Requires prior knowledge of clothing technology and is suitable for those who wish to excel in textile technology.

Module 2: Textile Innovation 15 ECTS

Require knowledge of textile materials.

Module 3: Textile Structures 15 ECTS

Require knowledge of textile materials.

• Textile Structures (pdf) 7,5 ECTS
• Elective course 7,5 ECTS:

  • Artificial Intelligence in Entrepreneurship (pdf) 7,5 ECTS

Master's level

Courses from different course packages cannot be combined but students that wish to study Swedish are encourages to add a Swedish language course to their course selection.

Textile Engineering

Requirements: 180 ECTS in engineering including knowledge in textile technology and polymeric material.

Requirements: 180 ECTS related to textile technology.

Project work courses can in some cases be offered to exchange students at  master's level. Students will work together together with a research group in our ongoing research project. Admission are based on the availability of supervisors and of the projects relevance to ongoing research as well as the students’ previous experience. Please note that the processing time for project work courses are longer and we therefor need your application well in advance of nomination deadlines (April 15 for the Autumn semester and October 15 for the Spring semester).
