Fashion Design and Textile Design
To apply for a fashion design or textile design, your home institution must have a valid exchange agreement for these subject areas.
Applicants to fashion design and textile design must upload a portfolio and CV when applying. Please refer to the 'required application documents' section on our webpage for incoming exchange students for further instructions.
Due to the limited number of available places, students are not guaranteed a spot, and selection is based on applicants' portfolios.
Courses are typically taught one at a time at full pace (100%) and require active participation in lectures and group work. Accepted students are expected to attend and participate actively and should not plan any travel during the semester without approval from their course coordinator.
The Swedish School of Textiles has a large machine park. However, access to our labs is generally restricted due to safety considerations and available resources, and students do not have unrestricted access. Accepted students will be introduced to the labs relevant to their courses during their exchange semester.
