We work with everything from fermentation and various thermal processes to processing and development of polymeric materials, to name a few examples.
Our labs are not only a resource for researchers, doctoral students and students at the University of Borås, they are also an open and creative environment for companies, organisations, and the public sector who want to explore new ideas, test processes, and develop sustainable products and solutions.
We conduct experiments and tests where microorganisms are allowed to grow in different conditions to achieve the desired result.
We conduct trials, tests and analysis of both conventional and alternative and recycled building materials.
We work with thermal processes and analyses. We also do thermodynamic equilibrium calculations, leaching and have the opportunity to cultivate algae that we then analyse and work with.
We develop, process and test various polymeric materials used in, for example, plastics, textiles and composites.
