I have a PhD in theory of science and research from University of Gothenburg, and a master’s degree in library and information science from the Swedish School of Library and Information Science.
My research interests are issues regarding research training and the researcher career in a broader science policy perspective. I took part in a commission on open access vis-à-vis systems of academic merit rating, funded by the National Library of Sweden. Previously I have researched the theoretical foundations of knowledge organisation and the establishment of library and information science as an academic discipline at University of Gothenburg and University of Borås.
My teaching focuses on critical thinking, theory, and research methods as well as thesis supervision and examination at the Swedish School of Library and Information Science.
