As a Senior lecturer I am active at the Faculty of Librarianship, Information, Education and IT, Department of Teacher Education, University of Borås. I am currently working with research and education within the areas of child language development, language didactics on younger ages and questions of special education in pre-school, school and special school.

I have a PhD in linguistics and a background as a licensed speech and language therapist. My thesis with the title ” From sounds to speech and gestures” - case studies of linguistic interaction in children with ASC” (University of Gothenburg, 2016) consists of three longitudinal studies that describe the development of interaction (including speech sounds, gestures and voice) in a few children with autism during an intervention with speech sounds.
