JEDi – Justice, Education & Didactics

The research group JEDi includes researchers who are interested in immersing themselves in issues relating to justice in schools.

The following questions guide the group's work and focus:

  • Question 1: What are the conditions for social and epistemic justice in teaching and school systems and how are such conditions created?
  • Question 2: Political and cultural changes affect education; what challenges does this pose for those who work in or study education-oriented practices?
  • Question 3: How can the critical capacity of different educational actors be increased?
  • Question 4: What opportunities and obstacles are there for constructive collaboration with practitioners and practices in schools?

The research group meets on the third Tuesday of each month.
