I work as a researcher within the field of Resource Recovery where I focus on efficient production of Biogas through co-digestion and also pretreatment of lignocellulosics for their further use in a biorefinery. Lignocellulose refers to plant dry matter (biomass) and is composed of carbohydrate polymers (cellulose, hemicellulose), and an aromatic polymer (lignin).

I have worked at the University of Borås since 2015. Before that I have worked as a Post doctoral researcher at Norwegian University of Science and Technology Trondheim and also studied Industrial Microbiology and Paper Technology at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India.

I currently participate in two research projects, one of which is financed by the Swedish Energy Agency.
