My work involves research and teaching activities within the area of textile material technology. My current research involves resource-efficient inkjet printing of functional materials on various textile surfaces for advanced applications. I am also involved in teaching courses related to Product development, Smart Textiles, Textile chemistry and wet processing (Dyeing & Finishing) and Circular textiles.
I have bachelor's and master's degrees in Textile Engineering and Technology. After completing my bachelor studies, I worked for about five years in the textile industry performing research, product development, factory-level production and merchandising-related duties. Before my current employment, I was involved in several research projects funded by Svenska Cellulosa AB (SCA), Vinnova (I-Tex) and EU (DESTEX). My previous work has helped to achieve several grants and awards such as the Swedish Institute study scholarship, Best thesis award (Bo Rydin Foundation), and Global Swede award (Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
