I am a PhD student at the Department of Resource Recovery and Building Technology, the Swedish Center for Resource Recovery, specializing in sustainable energy and thermal processes. My research focuses on carbon-rich industrial by-products, which I convert into biochar through pyrolysis and evaluate as a material for energy storage applications.
We know that there is no such thing as “waste”; all materials are resources. The challenge is to find the right applications or processes to integrate them into a circular society.
