Welcome!
We who work with the Textile Design program at the University of Borås wish you a warm welcome to three exciting years of study!
You have chosen an exclusive and unique education in Textile design where you will have the possibilities to develop your design from initial design ideas to finished textiles produced in our full-scale labs.
During the education, you will lay the foundation for your future professional career as a textile designer and we have a high ambition that what you learn will have great relevance for your future profession. We believe that textile design will become increasingly important in several areas in the future, e.g., in terms of sustainability, development of new materials and new ways of manufacturing textiles.
