Decision of the Vice-Chancellor regarding warnings

Decisions made by the Vice-Chancellor regarding a warning may be submitted by the student to the Disciplinary Board for review.

Decision of the Disciplinary Board regarding suspensions and warnings

Decisions made by the Disciplinary Board regarding suspensions and warnings may be appealed to the General Administrative Court.
(Higher Education Ordinance, Chapter 12, Section 3)

Here’s what to do:

Send a letter by post or electronic means to the University of Borås stating:
-what a decision you want to be reviewed
-why you think the decision should be reviewed
-what change you're requesting

Sign the letter, print your name clearly, and provide your personal identification number, postal address, and telephone number. If you have documents or other information that you believe supports your position, you should submit them.

Appeal of decisions:

Decisions made by the Disciplinary Board regarding suspensions and warnings are to be reviewed by Administrative Court in Jönköping

The university must have received your letter within three weeks of the date you received the decision, otherwise your appeal/review cannot be taken up.

A student who appeals against a decision of the Disciplinary Board in the Administrative Court has the opportunity to request, in connection with this, that the Disciplinary Board's decision not be enforced pending the Administrative Court's decision on the appeal (inhibition)
