Kickoff for new students

During the kickoff, you will have the opportunity to get to know your new fellow students, meet the student union, become familiar with the university, and its different sections. You will also meet the student buddies and campus associations. The idea is that we will give you as a new student in Borås a good start to your studies!

For those starting a campus-based educational programme in the autumn semester 2026, the kickoff begins on 31 August 2026 at 10:00. You will then be welcomed by the Student Union, the university and Borås City, with useful information for your upcoming studies. Read more about the kickoff and see the full schedule at the Student Union's webpage.

Orientation Days for international students

Orientation Days for new international students is held at the beginning of each semester. These days provides international students with practical information about Swedish culture, the University and the city of Borås.
