OneDrive

If you don't have the OneDrive icon you have to install Office first. You can download it at o365.hb.se

1. Click on the OneDrive icon
   
2. Click on Sign in
   
3. Type your student email address in the field (Sxxxxxx@student.hb.se) and click at sign in and type your password
   
4. You can now find your documents in the file explorer under "OneDrive - University of Borås"
   

Example: When a document is opened in Microsoft Word.

1. Click on the Save button in the top left corner
2. 
3. Double click at “OneDrive – University of Borås”
4. 
5. A new window will pop up in your OneDrive folder.
6. Under File name type a name for your document and click Save
7. 

Example when a Microsoft Word document is opened.

1. Click on "Open Other Documents"
2. 
3. Select ”OneDrive - University of Borås”  and choose the document you wish to open in the on the right side.

1. Click on the Start menu
2. Type File explorer in the search bar and then click File Explorer under the Programs tab. Or you can alternatively click on the icon at the bottom of the toolbar.

4. When the file explorer window opens, choose OneDrive - University of Borås

1. Go to your OneDrive folder via Explorer > OneDrive - University of Borås. If you cannot see the OneDrive folder, you must first log in (see tab Synchronize files with OneDrive)

3. Right-click on the folder or file you want to share and click on Share
4. 
5. Click on Anyone with this link can view. Select first option if you want to send link or second option if you want to copy the sharing link
6. 
7. Here you can choose which permissions the folder or file should have and whether the file should be editable. If you select the option Anyone with this link, we recommend that you set a password under the Set password field
8. 
9. Click on Apply
10. You can now choose if you want to send to a specific user or copy a share link.

You can choose whether a file should only be available on the OneDrive cloud to free up space on your computer.

1. Open your OneDrive folder
2. Right-click the file you only want to store in the cloud and select Free up space
3. Now the file will change status from green tick to a cloud.
