New Master’s Programme

The programme is aimed at those who hold a Bachelor's degree in library and information science, informatics, or equivalent and wish to specialise further when it comes to their already-acquired expertise. It will include courses in computational thinking, research methods, multimodality, open data as an arena for information creation, data strategies for organisations, and critical perspectives on a society steeped in data.

The programme will be given in English. It will be full-time and almost exclusively conducted remotely, with only a few meetings in Borås, Sweden that will be not be compulsory.

Processing of personal data

The information in the application form will be processed in a database that is used by the University of Borås with the purpose of spreading  information about the new Master’s Programme.

The data in the database can be transferred to Excel where they can be searched. The data will be deleted at the start of the new Masters Program. Read more about the processing of personal data.
