All courses related to Textiles and Fashion are conducted at the famous Swedish School of Textiles, a part of the University of Borås. With top of the line facilities and labs we offer an exceptional combination of skills and tools in the fields of texiles and design.
The academic year consists of four periods (P1-4) and each semester is divided into two periods. 30 ECTS correspond to a semester of full time studies and each period consist of 15 ECTS. More information about important dates for the semester can be found here.
Prerequisites required for the courses are stated in each course syllabus.

There are only 2 seats available per programme/semester within design and all students within textile and fashion design must be in Sweden one week prior to the semester starting, for introduction courses in our textile labs.
This is the second semester of the 2019-2020 academic calendar. All new exchange students should attend the Orientation Days 16-17 January.
Fashion design and Textile design students should attend the introduction course to the textile labs, 13-15 January: Dye- after treatment and print technique (PDF), 1,5 ECTS, preparation course
