Once the selection results have been published, programme students will receive an email reminder from the National Admissions Office to log in to 'My pages' at universityadmissions.se (external link) and check your results.
Exchange students admitted to the University of Borås will receive their admission letter by e-mail from the online application system TransIT.
The tuition fee should be paid in advance, one semester at a time. If you do not pay your tuition fee before the advised deadline on the invoice, you will not be allowed to register at the university and begin your studies.

Make sure you have comprehensive insurance coverage (private or through the university).

If you are a citizen of any other country than an EU/EEA country you need to apply for a residence permit. You are required to have the permit before you move to Sweden. You should apply for residence permit as soon as possible after you have been admitted. The permits are granted by the Swedish Migration Agency.

Before the semester starts you must create a student account and register for your courses.
The Orientation Days for international students take place before the official start of the semester and should be attended by all new international students, as it is the best chance to receive information about studying in Borås and meet your fellow students.
