You must register so as not to lose your place in the programme or courses to which you have been admitted.
Registration to courses starting in June 2024 will be open 20-28 May.
Registration to programmes starting in autumn 2024 will be open 19-27 August.
When you register for a programme or course, it means that you are confirming your admission and have decided to pursue these studies. Information is sent to CSN so that student financing can be paid.
You must be registered to participate in the educational programme and for results to be reported from exams, laboratory work, or other study achievements.
At the same time you create your student account to gain access to the systems you need for your studies, such as the learning platform. You will also get access to a student email account.
Follow the instructions on how to register and create your student account
In the Course and Programme Portal, each course and programme has its own webpage. There you will be able to see welcome letters, contact information, course syllabi, course literature lists, programme syllabi, evaluations, and other documents. In short, everything for your course or programme.
Once you have registered for your educational programme and created your student account, you can log in to Canvas. You have the same login that you use for your student account at the University of Borås.
It may take some time before the account is linked in Canvas, in which case wait until later to log in.
Via the university's website and mobile services, you can read your email, keep track of your schedule, and see your study results. These services can be found on a common webpage.
The Student Union will be a good support to you during your studies. As a member, you support the Student Union’s work to ensure the quality of the university's educational programmes. In addition, the Student Union coordinates student associations and runs the student pub The Kårner, which is a stone's throw from the campus in Borås.

Students can get access cards and library cards at Student Reception, Balder building, floor 3B as well as at the University Library, Sandgärdet building, entrance level.
