The University of Borås offers courses to exchange students at both Bachelor's and Master's level.
How to apply
Incoming exchange students apply through our online application system called TransIT. Please note that you have to be nominated by your home university before applying.
All documents uploaded in your application must be issued in English.
Autumn Semester: 15 April
Spring Semester: 15 October
Autumn Semester: 1 May
Spring Semester: 1 November
Please respect the application deadlines. If we receive your application after the 1 May/1 November deadlines, you can only be granted admission if there are study spots available and you fulfil the entrance qualifications.
Admission letters are issued to admitted students at the end of May/November.
Since the language of instruction and course literature for exchange students is English, the student must have sufficient English language skills. The faculties require the applying students to submit documents proving proficiency in English equivalent to B2 level (i.e. TOEFL test or language of instruction certificate from your university). The B2 level is the basic language, some study programmes have special requirements. Please contact the responsible international coordinator in case of questions.
