How to apply
Incoming exchange students apply to their home university to secure a nomination. Nominated students will recieve an invitation to apply through our online application system called TransIT.
All documents uploaded in your application must be issued in English.
Nomination deadlines
Autumn Semester: 15 April
Spring Semester: 15 October
Application deadlines
Autumn Semester: 1 May
Spring Semester: 1 November
Please respect the application deadlines. If we receive your application after 1 May/1 November, you may only be granted admission if there are study spots available and you meet the entry requirements.
Transcript of Records
In the application it is necessary to upload a Transcript of Records. The transcript of Records must be in English and contain information about all previously passed courses at university level.
English Proficiency
All exchange students are required to demonstrate English language proficiency equivalent of B2 (CEFR) in their application. English language proficiency can be demonstrated by a language of instruction certificate or a standardised language test.
IELTS: An overall mark of 6.5 and no section below 5.5
TOEFL (paper based): A score of 4.5 in a written test and a total score of 575
TOEFL (internet based): A score of 20 in a written test and a total score of 90
TOEIC: An overall mark of 775
Admission
All admitted exchange students will receive an admission letter sent from our application system TransIT in late May or late November. Once you have been admitted, you should start preparing for your upcoming stay in Sweden.
